Mini-Grant Application
Delta Kappa Gamma, Gamma Delta Chapter (Alleghany and Ashe Counties, NC)
Due by Friday, February 12, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Award notifications will be made by February 20, 2021.
Information/Instructions
The local chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma is accepting proposals for mini-grants in the neighborhood of $300 each. Three members of the chapter will receive awards, and two non-members will receive awards. Feel free to copy/paste the application form provided, then submit your proposal (either as an email attachment or as a hard copy) to the mailing or email addresses listed below.
The purpose of the mini-grants is to provide financial assistance for educators in Alleghany and Ashe Counties, NC. This is a competitive grant competition. Applications should be original and not provided by a vendor or retailer.
This mini-grant application is simple and easy to complete. Just answer the questions about how you would like to organize your grant project, where and when you want to implement your project, and who your targeted population is. As you address the questions, please provide complete answers so that the review committee will be able to envision your project as a whole.
Should you be awarded a mini-grant, you will be asked to agree to the following:

- You must fully expend the grant funds as outlined in your proposal by June 1, 2020. The grant committee must approve in advance any requests for changes in expenditures (additions, deletions, substitutions).
- You must submit a short report on the expenditures by June 30, 2020, including
- Statement of the finances of the project
- Copies of receipts, invoices, or purchase orders
- Brief description of the implementation of the project
- At least one photograph, no more than five photographs
- You must give permission for Gamma Delta Chapter to use information in the submitted proposal as well as photographs, logos, published/printed information, and how the funds were spent in press releases, on a website, or in publications (both print and digital).
